Monique Jones has over 23 years’ experience in veterinary nursing. She began her career in 2000 as a Student Veterinary Nurse at a general practice, where she qualified as a RVN. In 2004, she transferred to a referral hospital in the NW. During her time there she lead the nursing team and helped develop the hospital, and also gained her Small Animal Advanced Veterinary Nursing Diploma. In 2012, she had her first child, and, following maternity leave, she took a multidisciplinary role at another Specialist referral centre in the NW. Here, she progressed into the role of Advanced Imaging Nurse Practitioner, leading the imaging team and running the imaging modalities on a daily basis.
Monique joined Movement Referrals in April 2023, a very exciting opportunity to be a part of a smaller team with a wealth of knowledge, all striving to bring the best possible care for our patients and clients. Here, Monique uses her imaging skills with our 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner and Siemens CT scanner.
