Katie started her veterinary career as an animal care assistant in 2008 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2013. After working in first opinion and developing a keen interest in anaesthesia and surgery, she decided to delve into referral nursing in 2014. She decided to further her skills and knowledge and gained her advanced nursing diploma in 2018. After completing her studies, she worked as a locum nurse in both first opinion practices and referral hospitals throughout the Northwest. Working alongside various teams and specialists allowed her to once again further her knowledge and experience. Katie joined the Movement team in 2024 where she is able to continue her passion as a surgical and anaesthesia nurse whilst delivering a high standard of care to her patients.
