At Movement Vets, we all appreciate the role that animals play in our lives. That relationship with our pets runs deep and each pet we have creates many happy experiences and memories for us; we are sure the same is true for you.

Given the important role of animals in the human lived experience, we would like to introduce internationally-renowned sculptor, Emma Rodgers, as our ‘artist in virtual residence’.
Emma is an internationally-renowned artist and has created important works internationally as well as notable civic works in the UK. Animals play an important part in Emma’s portfolio and Emma is a lover of animals.
Writing about her work, the critic David Whiting has commented, that Rodgers is “…now recognised as one of Britain’s leading ceramic sculptors…” adding that her animal and human figures have “…a heightened sense of movement or tension, absorbed in the trials and dramas of existence.”
We have had the privilege to treat one of Emma’s dogs and we have also had the privilege for her to create a porcelain piece to remember one of our dogs.
Whilst we are not an art gallery, we hope that this web-based display of some of Emma’s work will bring you some joy.
