Canine Arthritis Clinical Trial
Does your dog have arthritis?
Arthritis is not just a disease of older dogs, it can affect any adult dog. Signs of arthritis
include:
- Lameness/limping
- Stiffness after lying down
- Sitting and slowing down at exercise
We are running a clinical trial to compare two licensed medicines for canine osteoarthritis.
Dogs must be over one year of age, and not be on medication for osteoarthritis already
(nutritional supplements are allowable).
The trial involves an initial diagnostic visit (examination, blood tests, sedation and X-rays)
followed by four more visits every two weeks. All costs are covered by the study sponsor
and all visits would be at Movement Referrals, in Preston Brook, WA7 3GH.
If you think your dog might be eligible please complete the contact form below. We will need details of your dog’s veterinary practice to request a referral for the trial.
