Tom is a Registered Veterinary Nurse here at Movement Referrals. Tom been in the veterinary industry from the age of 16, when he started his career as a wards assistant in a referral hospital back in 2008. Tom enrolled on his nurse training in 2012 and, upon completion, was added to the RCVS register as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in May 2015.
Tom has been lucky enough to work in several, established, multi-disciplinary veterinary hospitals in Northwest England alongside highly experienced veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses, and have gained a wealth of knowledge in surgical nursing along the way. Tom has a passion for all surgical nursing and anaesthesia, and always endeavours to provide patients with the best possible experience, to the highest achievable clinical standards during their visit. He is also passionate about contributing to having a great working facility with great equipment, helping all colleagues to have a pleasant working environment with great resources to be able to do their job with ease and to a high standard.
