Amy qualified from South Staffordshire College and joined the Register of Veterinary Nurses in 2013. She spent seven years in a small mixed practice in Shropshire before moving to a large referral hospital in the North West. She spent a further seven years there before joining the team at Movement Referrals in January 2023.
Amy is passionate about surgical nursing and anaesthesia, and enjoys all aspects of this within her role at Movement Referrals. She Amy says, “I especially enjoys scrubbing in to assist with fracture repairs; it is amazing to see how it all comes together. Amy also loves to teach and mentor because she loves to share knowledge with other nurses and learn new things herself along the way.
